Portable Power-Efficient Fiber Optic Power Meter

Toronto, Canada - GAO Instruments has rolled out its compact fiber optic power meter which is specially designed for the installation, calibration and maintenance of telecommunication and CATV networks. This fiber optic power meter boasts four function buttons on the front panel which respectively implement four essential functions: wavelength selection, absolute measurement, reference measurement and fiber loss determination.

This handheld power meter, model A0670003, tests optical power at both 1310nm and 1550nm wavelengths. Its power input range is from 23dBm to -37dBm. The power meter is equipped with a high resolution backlit LCD screen for clear display of measurements. It consumes little power and also offers a quick response time without requiring warm-up. Overall, this optical power meter's compact size, light weight and easy operation make it suitable for field use.
